A brief overview of exporting your data for Tableau is available here: Tableau Users: Import OData Into Tableau, although it could probably be skipped.
Tugger's Analytics Setup (image below) contains all the details required for importing your data. You will require the Odata URL and Authentication Details' Username and Password when in Tableau.
Unless you have a specific need, there is no requirement to download the Power BI Report template for Tableau’s usage.
After opening Tableau, you will be presented with a screen similar to the one shown below.
Select OData, as shown below.
If it is not shown, find it by clicking on More, under 'To a Server' as indicated below.
… Then select 'OData'
After selecting Odata, the following dialogue will appear
From Tugger, copy the OData Url (using the handy copy tool - as below).
Paste it into the Server field of the OData dialogue. Then, under Authentication, make sure 'Username and Password' is selected as in the following image.
... Then copy and paste the Username and Password from Tugger into the Odata fields indicated in the next image.
Click on Sign-In shown in the image below,
... and a dialogue appears as indicated in the following image.
After what is normally just a few seconds, all the datasets will become available; see below.
You will need to add the tables you require in the Data Source tab, and when linking them reference the Tugger Key ID, as indicated in the next image.
And as you can see in the next image (Sheet 1, which is highlighted) displays what was selected in the previous image and are now available to use.
This concludes the Tableau guide.
